This inaugural event marked a significant milestone in the advancement of women in the tech SEO industry, and it is sure to pave the way for many more successful festivals in the years to come.
The festivities commenced with a delightful walking tour the day prior, allowing us to familiarize ourselves with the charming city of Philadelphia and forge connections with fellow participants. This guided tour provided a perfect opportunity to explore and bond, setting the stage for an enriching experience ahead.

Following the tour, a preparty dinner hosted by Journey Further provided an intimate setting for candid conversations about our experiences in the industry. We delved into our challenges, exchanged valuable insights, and shared strategies for self-care and empowerment. It was an evening that left us feeling inspired and united, ready to embark on the Women in Tech SEO Festival with a renewed sense of purpose and camaraderie.
The following day, there was an all-day festival followed by a party hosted by Moz. All the time, the atmosphere was safe and inclusive.
It’s worth noting that this format of events provides an amazing way to network. As someone who attended the event solo, I had the privilege of meeting many incredible women in the industry. This gathering not only offered a platform for learning but also facilitated genuine connections that will undoubtedly endure beyond the event itself.
