This platform is the largest global hub for baby names, focusing primarily on the American market. With meticulously crafted content by experts, it currently garners nearly 4 million monthly organic visits.

Objective

The assigned task is revitalizing baby name pages with declining rankings and organic traffic.

Challenges

  • Enhance organic traffic through improved search performance.
  • Optimize a website that is already well-optimized in terms of on-page and technical aspects.
  • Innovate and elevate the selection of baby names.

Proposed Solutions

Despite the website’s existing optimization, I identified opportunities for enhancement, spanning both content and technical facets. Conducted a thorough crawl, uncovering broken links, redirections, and duplicated titles and descriptions. Identified and addressed the unnecessary indexing of user profiles, recommending a noindex meta tag to optimize the crawl budget. Resolved the indexing of internal site search results by incorporating a noindex,follow meta robots tag.

For content optimization, introduced a new template, expanded the introduction, incorporated a table of contents, updated visuals, and optimized internal linking. Schema markup was also added to increase the likelihood of featured snippets.

Proposed the integration of AI-generated videos for each baby name page to enhance rankings on both Google and YouTube. Let’s remember that YouTube, in addition to Google, is also a search engine. 

Expected results

Upon implementation, anticipated results include increased engagement, recovery of organic traffic, higher average time spent on pages, improved rankings, and enhanced income generation.
